The summer quiet is ending, and we’re returning to the cushion.
Our Tuesday Evening Zen Meditation resumes on Tuesday, September 8, at the UVic Multifaith Centre near Finnerty Gardens — newcomers and long-time practitioners alike, no cost, no experience needed. If you’ve been meaning to come and sit, now is the time.
For those ready to go deeper, I offer formal Zen training through Monarch, my own teaching practice — including Entering the Gate of Zen, a small online cohort over four Wednesday evenings beginning October 7. If you’re not sure where to start, the First Steps page at Monarch lays out the ways in.
Wherever you are in the world, Zenwest’s resources remain freely available — the online Orientation to Zen, our chant book and recordings, and the Living Zen podcast, with new dharma talks every couple of weeks.
