If you have not practiced with another tradition, the Orientation to Zen Buddhist Practice Course is required as a gateway to Formal Zen Training at the Centre. The course runs two and a half hours a week over four weeks.

Participants are expected to purchase a black martial arts-style uniform before the first session. In Victoria, we recommend Kata Trading, 670 Herald Street, (250) 382-5282. In order to maintain the quality of instruction, course enrollment is limited to 8 participants each session.

Fees for this four-week course: $295 (Cash, Cheque, VISA, MASTERCARD)
A deposit of $50 is required to ensure a space upon registration. The balance is payable one week before the first day of the course.
